If you have sent a parcel with one of our couriers, and the delivery of that parcel is delayed, or there is delay upon collection, then there are a number of things you can do to find out the status of your parcel.
The Company Has Gone Into Administration
As what happened in December 2014, when City Link went into administration, there are some rare circumstances when couriers can go bust. If this has happened, then you may find that you will need to collect the parcel from the depot if it is still being stored there. If it’s not stored there, then the parcel is likely to arrive at its destination, although perhaps not at the time you expected.
Use Online Tracking Facilities
There are a number of things that you can do if your parcel courier is delayed, and one of them is using online tracking facilities to find out where your parcel is. This way, you will be able to have some form of confirmation that your parcel has indeed not dropped off the parcel at the specific time or date, and consider claiming some form of compensation for it.
You Will Be Contacted
If your courier is delayed upon collection, or is delayed when it comes to delivering your parcel, the courier should contact you directly to ensure that you are made aware of the possible delay on your parcel.
